HIV CASES N THE PHILIPPINES SURGE BY 500% — YOUTH MOST AFFECTED

From January to March 2025 alone, 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟓,𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 have been recorded nationwide — with most infections among 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟓 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟓. The Department of Health is now urging the government to declare this a 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲.
