They are responsible for processing and receiving payments and issuing receipts to customers as they leave with their purchases. Cashiers also handle additional items necessary, while providing an excellent customer service experience.

Cashiers have a range of responsibilities relating to the daily operations of cash transactions, which primarily involves engaging with clients/patients, responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions especially with hospital bills and balancing the daily sales report, Calculating and returning change for cash transactions. Cashiers also maintain a working knowledge of HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEM BIZBOX (HIS) to ensure that client pay the appropriate amount for every transactions they made. In addition, Cashier will issue discharge certificate after recieving the payment.
